Little Red Riding Hood

 Little Red Riding Hood's Adventure | Story.com

Once upon a time, there was a girl named Little Red Riding Hood. She lived in a village near a big forest. Little Red always wore a red hooded cloak her grandma made for her.

One day, her mom packed a basket of yummy treats and honey for grandma, who was sick. Her mom told her to stay on the path and not talk to strangers.

As she walked through the forest, a sneaky wolf saw her and wanted her treats. He tricked her into picking flowers in a meadow so he could run ahead to grandma's house.

The wolf locked grandma in the closet, put on her clothes, and pretended to be her when Little Red arrived. Little Red noticed something was wrong when she saw the wolf's big eyes, ears, and teeth.

Right when the wolf was about to eat Little Red, a brave woodsman heard them and rescued them with his axe. The wolf ran away, and everyone was safe.

Little Red learned to be careful and never talk to strangers. She thanked the woodsman and promised to listen to her mom next time.

Now, here are the questions to think about the story:

  1. Where was Little Red Riding Hood going, and why did she stop to pick flowers?
  2. Who tricked Little Red into leaving her grandma's house, and how did the wolf pretend to be someone else?
  3. Who saved Little Red and her grandma from the wolf?
