Little Red Riding Hood

Image
Once upon a time, there was a girl named Little Red Riding Hood. She lived in a village near a big forest. Little Red always wore a red hooded cloak her grandma made for her. One day, her mom packed a basket of yummy treats and honey for grandma, who was sick. Her mom told her to stay on the path and not talk to strangers. As she walked through the forest, a sneaky wolf saw her and wanted her treats. He tricked her into picking flowers in a meadow so he could run ahead to grandma's house. The wolf locked grandma in the closet, put on her clothes, and pretended to be her when Little Red arrived. Little Red noticed something was wrong when she saw the wolf's big eyes, ears, and teeth. Right when the wolf was about to eat Little Red, a brave woodsman heard them and rescued them with his axe. The wolf ran away, and everyone was safe. Little Red learned to be careful and never talk to strangers. She thanked the woodsman and promised to listen to her mom next time. Now, here are...

Thumbelina

Once upon a time, there was a kind lady who longed for a child of her own. One sunny day in her garden, she saw a beautiful flower fairy sitting on a sunflower. "Hello! I've never seen anyone like you," said the lady. The flower fairy smiled. "I can grant you a wish. What would you like?" "I wish for a little baby," the lady replied. The flower fairy gave her a magic seed and told her to care for it with love. Soon, a lovely yellow tulip bloomed, and inside it was a tiny girl no bigger than the lady's thumb. The lady named her Thumbelina and loved her dearly. Thumbelina helped her mother with chores and loved singing while they worked. One night, a frog took her away to live on a lily pad in a pond. Thumbelina didn't like it there, so a friendly fish helped her escape. She floated to a town of water beetles who teased her, so she drifted away to a sunny field where she spent the summer happily. When autumn came, a kind field mouse took her in...

The Unicow

Image
Sophia loved animals more than anything. She collected them in secret, despite her parents’ rules. They were too busy with work to spend time with her like they used to, camping and having fun. One day, after a scolding about more animals in the house, her parents made a deal. If Sophia could go a week without bringing any new pets home, they'd go camping as a family. Sophia wanted that more than anything, so she agreed. But then, in the bathroom, she found the most unusual creature: a Unicow! Part unicorn, part cow, with rainbow spots and a magical horn. Sophia knew her parents couldn’t find out—it would ruin their camping trip. With the Unicow’s help, Sophia kept it hidden in her room all week. It made delicious milkshakes from its spots, which Sophia loved. When camping day arrived, Sophia secretly brought the Unicow along. They followed the Unicow’s magical guidance to a hidden valley filled with more Unicows. Sophia and her family camped there happily ever after, surrounded ...

The Golden Goose

Once upon a time, there lived a mother and father with three sons. The youngest son was the kindest and most thoughtful of them all. One day, the oldest son went into the forest to chop wood. His mother packed him sandwiches and juice, but when an old man asked for some, he refused and hurt himself with his axe. The second son, too, met the old man but turned him away. He, too, hurt himself with the axe. Finally, the youngest son asked to go, despite his parents' worries. With only bread crust and water, he shared his humble lunch with the old man, who magically turned it into a feast. As a reward, the old man directed him to find a golden goose under a tree. This goose had a magical power: anyone who touched it would stick to it! The youngest son took the golden goose to a nearby hotel, where the owner's daughters became stuck to it when they tried to pluck a feather. Soon, a farmer, two farm workers, and many others found themselves stuck in a chain behind the boy and the g...
