The Golden Goose

The golden goose asleep with the three sisters cuddled up asleep next to them.

Once upon a time, there lived a mother and father with three sons. The youngest son was the kindest and most thoughtful of them all.

One day, the oldest son went into the forest to chop wood. His mother packed him sandwiches and juice, but when an old man asked for some, he refused and hurt himself with his axe.

The second son, too, met the old man but turned him away. He, too, hurt himself with the axe.

Finally, the youngest son asked to go, despite his parents' worries. With only bread crust and water, he shared his humble lunch with the old man, who magically turned it into a feast.

As a reward, the old man directed him to find a golden goose under a tree. This goose had a magical power: anyone who touched it would stick to it!

The youngest son took the golden goose to a nearby hotel, where the owner's daughters became stuck to it when they tried to pluck a feather. Soon, a farmer, two farm workers, and many others found themselves stuck in a chain behind the boy and the goose.

They all ended up at the castle, where the princess, known for never laughing, found the sight so amusing that she burst into laughter. The king, seeing his daughter's joy, declared the youngest son her new best friend.

When the old man appeared and clapped his hands, everyone was magically unstuck from the golden goose. The youngest son was rewarded for his kindness and bravery, and he and the princess remained the best of friends forever.

And so, with the help of a magical goose and a kind heart, they all lived happily ever after.
